  Description
Known as the Guardians of Order in the peaceful era before the Freedom Guard uprising, the base Imperium infantry unit is armed with a laser rifle and wears a powered armor suit.

Guardians serve as light infantry. Best when used in groups, they overwhelm an enemy unit. Take care not to rely too heavily on Guardians, as one lucky martyr can take out a group.

Bion
  Description

A fearless mechanical killer, the Bion is armored like a walking tank. This one-man cyborg death squad carries a massive plasma rifle and can cause havoc upon enemy forces.

Value
Bions are both stronger and have more powerful weaponry than a Guardian. Bions also have the ability to shoot both air and ground units, making them affective support units if you don't wish to spend money on M.A.Ds

Exterminator
  Description
Exterminators are equipped with anti-gravity generators which allow them to hover over water. As infantry, they can also move over steep gradients that are generally inaccessible to hover vehicles. Exterminators are armed with poly-acid grenades that dissolve metal. They are very effective at attacking armor.

Exterminators are very effective against armor. They are however, only effective against armor. Their guns also cause a large amount of splash damage, and any near by units will be damaged.

Amper
 
Description

The Amper is the Imperium's version of first aid, this lunatic cyborg fires darts into dying infantry units that boost the target's health to full, but leave the unit poisoned so that its health will steadily decrease unit the unit dies. The Amper can also be used as an offensive weapon, bring slow death to enemy infantry.

Value
The Amper really has no value, it is a healer, yes, but it does kill your own unit. As for attacking enemies with it, it serves no purpose, as the enemies will only take damage over time.

Hostage Taker
 
Description
The Hostage Taker snatches infantry units, lobotomizes them and converts them into Suicide Zombies. Shortly after the infantry unit is run over and captured, it is released, now under the player's control and with a high-powered explosive strapped to its back.

The Hostage Taker is reasonably useless. The kamikaze units it produces walk slowly, and can easily be killed before they reach their target.

  Description

Scout Runner is a fast moving hover vehicle is armed with a laser and is fairly effective against both infantry and armor. However, it is not very sturdy, and is used primarily for front line reconnaissance.

  Description

The Plasma Tank is tough and packs a formidable plasma cannon. The Imperium overruns the enemy with endless waves of these ruinous machines.

May I introduce you to your main tank. If you want to do a tank rush in game, this is the choice. Cheap, fast, strong, adequate weaponry. The Plasma tank is essentially a moving Plasma Turret. Best when used in groups.

Tachion Tank
 
Description

The Tachion Tank is the largest, most heavily armored beast on the battlefield. It's a ponderous mountain of havoc that has the last word in any argument. When the enemy does manage to overpower one of these juggernaughts, it has the ability to self-destruct and take any nearby units down with it.

  Value
The Tachion tank is your best friend in this game. Strong, Destructive, but expensive. The Tachion tank has a lot of armor, and has the most powerful gun on the battlefield. The Tachion also has a very high range giving it yet another advantage. The only draw back is the price tag, 1500c is a lot of money.

Shredder
  Description

A huge, hovering nightmare, the Shredder tears through infantry like a runaway saw. Although it has no ranged attack, it is fast, heavily armored, and inflicts severe damage on any infantry.

  Value
Very useful against infantry, and ONLY useful against infantry. The shredder, when placed on high independence and/or pursuit range will hunt down an enemy infantry and make quick work of him. Sending a shredder into a group of infantry? Sit back and watch the blood flow.

SCARAB
  Description

The S.C.A.R.A.B (Self Contained Armored Ranged Artillery Battery)  is a long range weapon fires a fragmenting projectile that breaks into numerous burning particles over its target. This vehicle is slow and lightly armored, but it can enclose itself in a retractable armored exoskeleton when it gets in trouble. The unit cannot fire while this armor is engaged, but can weather a considerable beating while waiting for reinforcements.

  Value
The SCARAB is your artillery piece. It's range is amazing. You can literally attack the enemy base from your own base. The SCARAB also features the ability to contain itself in a shield, by pressing the 'I' key while the unit is selected, it will go into it's shield. This shield is VERY strong, it can withstand 3+ temporal rifts and still be in good health.

Invader Troop Transport
  Description

Armed with a laser rifle, the Troop Transport can carry up to five infantry units at a time.

The Invader Class Transport is useful for moving troops across terrain and water, quickly. If you have a large number of infantry in an invasion force, transports are suggested.

MAD
  Description

The MAD (Mobile Air Defense) fires bladed orbs at enemy air units. Like the Freedom Guard Flak Jack, it cannot fire at ground units and should be defended against land attack.

Value
MAD is essentially a mobile Anti-Air Site. it has no defense against ground fire. The MAD is useful when escorting vehicles, when placed in high independence, it will stop and fire at an aircraft when one comes in range.

  Description

The Recon Drone is a small unmanned drone is lightly armored and has no offensive capability. It is used solely to scout enemy targets.

Recon Drones are good for scouting an area in both the beginning of the game (by setting it to scout) and, is useful for scouting ahead of an army to site any unit emplacements.

  Description

The Cyclone embodies the core of the Imperium aerial force. The unit is fairly rugged and can engage both air and ground units. However, the Cyclone's neutron cannon has a limited energy source and must recharge at the Re-Arming Deck.

The Cyclone is your only air-fighter. It is very useful for scraping at ground targets. It's neutron accelerator wreaks havoc against enemy infantry. It is also useful as n anti-air unit.

  Description

The Sky Fortress is a floating platform that houses the largest plasma cannon know to humanity. It's slow to recharge but makes a lasting impact.

Value
The Sky Fortress is a very useful, powerful but expensive unit. This is not a unit you want to send into an area with ample anti-air support. The Sky Fortress is actually most useful when in groups, attacking buildings. 3 Fortresses can take out an enemy Rail-Gun with ease. it's a good idea, when sending a fortress into enemy territory, to have at least some escort with it.
